Ahmad Fuad Osman is one of Malaysia’s most significant contemporary artists, known for a practice that challenges historical narratives and sociopolitical structures. A founding member of the influential Matahati collective, his work spans painting, installation, sculpture, and video.
Osman’s projects often involve extensive archival research, using humor, irony, and multi-layered symbolism to re-examine the complexities of Malaysian identity and Southeast Asian history.
